IQAC of Shri D.D.Vispute College of Pharmacy and Research center and Department of Library coordinately celebrated “National Librarian’s Day” on Birth Anniversary of Pad. Dr. S. R. Rangnathan (Father of library and information science) on 12th August 2021 in presence of Hon.Shri.Dhanraj ji Vispute sir (Chairman Adarsh group of Institutes).The programme is well coordinated under valuable guidance by respected principal Dr.Ashish Jain.
The programme began with the traditional lightening of the lamps with floral tribute to Dr. S. R. Ranganathan, followed by special session at 11:30 am to 12: pm in which speaker Mrs. Chhaya Padwal elaborated on the achievements of Ranganathan’s life and his significant contributions to the development of library science in India .the event is further followed by Virtual library visit to library.
