Second February is recognized each year as Rheumatoid Arthritis Awareness Day. The purpose of the day is to increase public awareness of the chronic inflammatory condition that affects many joints, including those in the hands and feet. On this day, the Rheumatoid Patient Foundation started a campaign to raise awareness of the auto-immune disease, which attacks the joints and causes inflammation in addition to other potentially harmful conditions.
On the occasion of this day, NSS Volunteers of S.R.S.P.M. Shri D. D. Vispute College of Pharmacy & Research Center, Devad Vichumbe New Panvel, presented posters for the social awareness to the residents in Devad-Vichumbe Campus New Panvel under the wonderful guidance & direction of Respected Principal Dr. Ashish Jain Sir.
