The International Labour Organization (ILO) launched every year World Day Against Child Labour on June 12th, the day is intended to serve as a catalyst for the growing worldwide movement against child labour. The theme for World Day Against Child Labour 2023 is ‘Social Justice for All. End Child Labour!’.
The NSS unit of Shri D. D. Vispute college of Pharmacy & Research centre celebrated this day by conducting a survey of child labour in the nearby areas. The NSS volunteers visited the nearby shops, restaurants, markets etc. to survey whether the child labour is practiced or not. Based on Survey it has been concluded that certain Steps should be taken and awareness should be created that child labour is an offensive crime, so that child labour will be fully vanished and the future of none child will be ruined.
