On the occasion of Van Mahotsav, a significant tree plantation drive was conducted by the NSS Unit of college in collaboration with the Devad-Grampanchayat on 12th July 2024, aiming to enhance the green cover and promote environmental awareness in the adopted village of Devad. The college coordinated with the local governing body to identify suitable areas for plantation and ensure community participation. A variety of saplings, including fruit-bearing and shade-providing trees, were selected to cater to the ecological needs of the area. Volunteers, faculty and local residents participated enthusiastically in planting saplings. A total of 200 saplings were planted.
This huge drive was well organized and conducted in presence of Hon. Dr. Ashish Jain Sir, Principal & under the guidance of Hon. Shri. Dhanraj Vispute Sir, Chairman & Hon. Mrs. Sangeeta Vispute Madam, Secretary Adarsh Group of Institute. It not only contributed to environmental conservation but also strengthened the bond between the college and the local community. The event showcased the collective effort and commitment towards creating a greener and healthier environment.
