National Service Scheme (NSS) has been introduced at Shri D.D. Vispute College of Pharmacy & Research Center since 2019 as a part of the academic programs and since then NSS has been functioning as a regular feature in the realm of our college education. NSS has been playing a vital role in enriching the souls and minds of the students of the college & we are fulfilling the objective of this scheme ‘Education and Service’ to the community and by the community.

It has been my great pride and pleasure to mentor the NSS Team for the year 2022-2024. The team has proved its mettle in shouldering every responsibility with utmost care and diligence. I’m happy to report that the SDDVCOP NSS unit has offered our young students a fresh perspective and a special opportunity to support civil society. Volunteers gain civic awareness and responsibility through the NSS camps. We at NSS have stood by the motto “Not Me But You” & truly and soulfully serving the long standing motto of NSS, “Love All, Serve All”.

I express my appreciation to Principal Dr. Ashish Jain, and all the NSS Program Officers & Volunteers for their selfless and lucrative service in nation building. I would like to give out this message that we must all remember to do things that make life worthwhile. In the words of Dalai Lama, “The goal is not to be better than the other man, but your previous self.” Being the NSS program officer, my efforts will be towards channelizing potential of our Volunteer students to reach out to society and to create an ecosystem where idea of service of humanity is looked upon as a way of life and not just as a task. I am sure that the NSS unit of SDDVCOP will reach greater heights by the toil and dedication of young students.
