Statutory Committees
Statutory Committees
The Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) are two groups that have been identified as the most marginalized in Indian society. These groups include all castes, races, or tribes that have been socially, economically, and educationally disadvantaged. In order to support and integrate students from these communities into mainstream society, a cell has been established to focus on their empowerment. The SC/ST cell of the college is designed to provide assistance to SC/ST students in the college. The college takes special interest in facilitating financial support to students from these communities from government agencies and other sources. This financial support can help to alleviate the financial burden that often prevents students from marginalized communities from pursuing their education. Additionally, the college encourages SC/ST students to enroll in career orientation programs. These programs can equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to choose a career option that aligns with their interests and capabilities. By doing so, the college aims to promote the social and economic upliftment of these communities. Overall, the SC/ST cell of the college is a valuable resource for students from marginalized communities. By providing financial support and career guidance, the college is working towards empowering these students and helping them to reach their full potential.
