The Swachhata Abhiyan was conducted by SDDVCOP as part of the Gandhi Jayanti Pandharwada celebrations on 10th October 2024 in Devad Village, New Panvel. The initiative aimed to instill in students a sense of cleanliness and responsibility, in line with Mahatma Gandhi’s vision for a clean and self-reliant India under theme “Swachhata Hee Seva” & “Swabhav Swachhata Sanskar Swachhata”.
A group of students and faculty extended the cleanliness drive beyond the campus, focusing on the roads leading to Devad village and nearby areas. The team worked to clear litter from the roadside, with special emphasis on collecting plastic waste The event as an opportunity to remind students of the value of clean India in modern society and how cleanliness is a fundamental principle of nation-building.
The entire cleanliness drive was well conducted in direction of Hon. Dr. Ashish Jain sir, Principal & under the guidance of Hon. Shri Dhanraj Vispute sir, Chairman & Hon. Mrs. Sangeeta Vispute Ma’am, Secretary Adarsh Group of Institute.
