Blood donation is the voluntary process of giving blood to help those in need, particularly patients who require blood for medical treatments, surgeries, or emergencies. Donating blood is a life-saving act, and one donation can save up to three lives.
University of Mumbai, National Service Scheme in association with HDFC BANKorganized “Felicitation of college NSS units” program for many colleges, with this regard NSS unit of our college Shri DDVCOP&RCwas presented a certificate of appreciation for conducting blood donation camps at Panvel Railway station and for successfully collecting more 133 bottles of blood during blood shortage period (21st October to 18th November 2024).
