Blood donation is the voluntary process of giving blood to help those in need of medical care. It plays a critical role in healthcare systems, as donated blood is used for various purposes such as treating trauma victims, cancer patients, those undergoing surgeries, and individuals with certain medical conditions like anemia or hemophilia.
IQAC and NSS Unit of Shri D. D. Vispute College of Pharmacy and Research Center in New Panvel commemorated the death anniversary of Swatantra Veer VinayakDamodarSavarkar by organizing a blood donation camp in collaboration with CKT College Panvel on 25th February 2025.
The event witnessed active participation from students and faculty members of VisputeCollege Collectively, the colleges contributed a significant number of blood units, with Shri D. D. Vispute College alone donating 13 blood bags.
