To instil a sense of social responsibility and the importance of maintaining cleanliness in public spaces among the youth volunteers, On the occasion of International Youth Day, the NSS unit of SDDVCOP organized a Plastic Waste Collection & Cleanliness Drive at the Gaodevi Mandir Campus, Nerul. The event was part of a broader initiative to promote environmental awareness to contribute to the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan by cleaning and beautifying the Gaodevi Mandir Campus, a popular local spot that attracts numerous visitors daily. The volunteers, equipped with gloves, masks, brooms, and garbage bags, assembled at the temple campus. They collected plastic waste, dry leaves, and other garbage, ensuring the area was spotless.
The event conducted in presence of Hon. Dr. Ashish Jain Sir, Principal & under the guidance of Hon. Shri Dhanraj Vispute Sir, Chairman & Hon. Mrs. Sangeeta Vispute Madam, Secretary Adarsh Group of Institute, not only achieved its immediate goal of cleaning the temple premises but also left a lasting impact on the volunteers and the community.
