On the auspicious occasion of the 9th Memorial Day of Shikshan Maharshi Bapusahbe D.D. Vispute, the IQAC & NSS Unit of SDDVCOP in collaboration with R Jhunjhuwala Sankara Eye Hospital successfully conducted a “Free Eye Check-Up Camp” on 21st September 2024. This initiative was held to honor the memory and vision of the late Shikshan Maharshi, whose legacy of service and dedication towards healthcare and education continues to inspire the institution.
The camp was inaugurated by Hon.Dr.Ashish Jain Sir, Principal of SDDVCOP & was graced by several dignitaries from the institution, as well as representatives from the R.J. Sankara Eye Hospital. The camp provided free eye screening and consultation to over 150 individuals from the local community & the college staff, ensuring access to quality eye care services. The services included eye check-ups for common issues like refractive errors, cataract screening, and general eye health advice.
This initiative taken by Hon. Shri Dhanraj Vispute Sir, Chairman & Hon. Mrs. Sangeeta Vispute Ma’am, Secretary, not only reinforced the institution’s commitment to serving the community but also celebrated the spirit of social responsibility.
