IQAC, NDLI Club of Library & NSS Unit of SDDVCOP collaboratively organized a series of events to celebrate National Librarians Day in the memory of Pad. Dr. S.R.Ranganathan. The day was marked by a variety of activities aimed at promoting the importance of libraries, the role of librarians, and encouraging the use of library resources among students and faculty. The celebration commenced with a quiz competition, designed to test participants knowledge of library science, famous books & Dr. S.R.Ranganathan. A panel discussion was held, focusing on the impact of spiritual and motivational books on personal and academic growth. To encourage the use of digital resources, a library app registration drive was organized. Volunteers from the NSS Unit and NDLI Club assisted students and faculty in downloading and registering for the college’s library app.
The events conducted in presence of Hon. Dr. Ashish Jain Sir, Principal & under the guidance of Hon. Shri Dhanraj Vispute Sir, Chairman & Hon. Mrs. Sangeeta Vispute Madam, Secretary Adarsh Group of Institute, not only highlighted the importance of traditional and digital library resources but also encouraged students to explore and utilize these resources for their personal and academic development.
