The NSS Unit of SDDVCOP celebrated 78th Independence Day with great zeal and enthusiasm by organizing a series of events aimed at fostering the spirit of patriotism and social responsibility. Volunteers showed active participation in “Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign”. They encourage their family, neighbours & friends to participate and spread the word by hoisting the national flag at their homes. The day continue with “Tiranga Rally”, where NSS volunteers and students proudly carried the national flag through the streets surrounding the college.
Following the rally, the NSS Unit visited Swapnalay Girls’ Children’s Home, an orphanage, to donate Study Materials & essential goods. The visit was a touching and memorable experience for both the students and the children at the home. The volunteers spent time interacting with the children, engaging them in sharing stories of India’s independence & disseminating awareness session about health and hygiene, education, safety. The students and volunteers left with a sense of fulfillment and pride in having contributed to both the nation and their community.
