To increase green cover in the region & to promote environmental awareness and responsibility among participants, the NSS Unit of SDDVCOP, in collaboration with the Rotaract Club and the Lions Club of Vashi Gold, successfully executed a Trees & Seedballs Plantation Drive on 12th August at the Gaodevi Mandir Campus, Nerul by Youth Volunteers on the occasion of “International Youth Day”. Volunteers were divided into groups and were assigned specific areas within the Gaodevi Mandir Campus for plantation. A total of 35 trees were planted, and 60 seedballs were distributed and sown during the drive. The event was graced by Mr. Girish Mhatre, Corporator, Nerul, Mr. Anubhav Jain, President, Lions Club of vashi gold who shared their insights on environmental conservation and motivated the volunteers to continue their efforts in making the planet greener.
