World Pharmacist Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Shri D. D. Vispute College of Pharmacy & Research Center in association with Maharashtra state pharmacy council, IPA, Raigad & Chemist & distributors association, Raigad, on 25th September, marking a day to honor and acknowledge the critical role pharmacists play in healthcare. The event was graced by the presence of Hon. Shri Sahebrao Salunkhe sir, Auditor, consultant & Advisor, AIOCD, MSCDA, conducted an enlightening session on the evolving responsibilities and significance of pharmacists in the modern world. The celebration commenced with a formal welcome address, followed by the keynote session by Hon. Shri Prasad Danve sir, Joint Secretary, MSCDA. His talk covered the impact of the pharmaceutical industry on public health. The celebration commenced in presence of the galaxy of intellectuals;

Following the session, the college organized a Pharmacist Rally that saw enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and staff. Participants carried placards and banners, sharing messages about the importance of pharmacists. One of the major highlights of the celebration was the Street Play performed by the students depicting common issues related to drug addiction & self-medication.
